A mid-20th century 'Summa' teak modular stacking storage Unit, designed by Terence Conran, comprising of nine individual units, either with drawers, cupboards or shelves, each unit is W 61 cm x H 66 cm x D 46, in total W 185 cm x H 198 cm x D 46 cm. Sir Terence Conran is synonymous with the development and styling of British design since the early 1950s. This storage unit formed part of the 'Summa' range of flat pack furniture that was designed in the 1950s and 1960s. A similar unit was illustrated in 'The Way We Live Now' Exhibition to mark Conran's 80th birthday at The Design Museum in London.
